The event itself is the beginning of activities for the forming of several consortia engaged in innovative projects in the maritime & marine activities, financed through Horizon2020, the largest EU research and innovation program ever, with almost 80 billion euros of funds available during 7 years (2014-2020), independent of private investment that further attracts this project. The goal of the program is new, revolutionary discoveries, significant breakthroughs and improvements in different spheres of science and technology, but also the practical application of these achievements that will lead to improvement and greater competitiveness of the economy.

CEO Sparovic, as one of the initiators of this event, got an opportunity to address the participants at the plenary session on the first day of the meeting and to present the possibilities of our company as a potential partner in consortia whose formation is being planned. Within the special topic of the session held on the second day, which was related to the project BG-05-2019: "Multi-use of the marine space, offshore and near-shore: pilot demonstrators (IA)", CEO Sparovic taking the active part in  the discussion highlighted the areas from this project, which our company would like to deal with within the consortium, and with its constructive attitude and suggestions, he significantly contributed to the formation of a framework plan for further activities to form a consortium and define the key tasks under this plan.

Participation in this event is a significant experience for all of us and proof of the correctness of the decision to access the Vision2020 network. Significant contacts have been made with a number of scientific and research institutions, as well as business entities, which creates the perspective of further development of our company and its participation in a number of different international projects. Our goal remains the development of shipping activities and the maritime economy in our country.
