This agreement is the crown of many months of our activities, which in 2019 enabled the participation of Milšped doo in a consortium that submitted a project financing application on the topic: Prevention, detection, response and mitigation of combined physical and cyber threats to critical infrastructure. Europe, as part of the call: SU-INFRA-01-2019 Protecting Europe's infrastructure and people in the European smart cities, funded by the largest EU research and innovation program, HORIZON2020. Our company has been engaged in all stages of preparation, writing and application, and we are extremely happy that our work, together with other partners, has been fruitful and the project is highly rated by the evaluators and selected for funding. We are particularly proud of the fact that Milsped is not just the only consortium partner from Serbia, but also the only from some non-EU country, which speaks to the high level of trust that our company and Milsped have among other consortium partners.
This contract enables our company to continue to actively assist in the realization of this project, and in that sense, we will first be engaged in the conclusion of financing contracts with the European Commission, which are expected in April or May 2020, and from June 2020, when the official start of the project is planned, we will continue to assist Milsped in fulfilling their obligations in the framework of this project. We also expect the continuation of activities that should enable Milsped to be a partner in some other projects, related to their activities in the field of logistics.
